Baylor Uptown Opens its Doors

DALLAS, TX – When the new surgical hospital facility gracing the corner at 2727 E. Lemmon Avenue opens to its first patient visits on January 17, the transition of Mary Shiels Hospital to Baylor Medical Center at Uptown will be complete. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology for performing specialty surgical procedures, imaging services, and emergency care. For 47 years, the Mary Shiels Hospital occupied its former location adjacent to Central Expressway. Essential Tremor Patient Featured in “Baylor Innovations”

Methodist Hospital for Surgery Opens

December 16, 2010

ADDISON, Texas – The grand opening of Methodist Hospital for Surgery, Dallas' newest hospital, was celebrated by local physicians, representatives from Methodist Health System and Nueterra Healthcare, and state and local leaders, including Texas State Senator Florence Shapiro, at an intimate gathering in late October.
