Q: What kind of treatments do you offer?

Q: Will I see Dr. Shaad Bidiwala for each appointment?

A: Yes. As your spine specialist, Dr. Bidiwala is your dedicated physician and you will see him at every appointment. However, if you need to make an urgent care appointment, but Dr. Bidiwala is unavailable, we may ask if you would like to schedule an appointment with an alternate physician who is available.

Q: What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

A: To help us give you the individualized treatment you need, be sure to download, print and complete the appropriate medical forms. This will help expedite the registration process for you and ensure your time with the physician is used effectively. Also, please remember to bring your photo ID, insurance card, a recent MRI report and a list of medications you’re taking.

Q: Which insurance policies do you accept?

A: We accept most major insurance policies; please visit our insurance page for a complete list.

Q: Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?

A: Typically, yes. If you have HMO insurance, or in some cases PPO insurance, your health plan will likely require a doctor’s referral for specialty medical care. A referral ensures your continuity of care and that you have a secure location for your confidential medical records. It also confirms you have a main point of contact that understands all of your health needs.

Q: What are your regular office hours?

A: Our office hours are 8:30  a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are closed on all federal holidays.

Q: What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

A: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call 214-823-2052 at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid cancellation fees.
